IUPS is proud of its Academy of Physiology, launched in 2021.

The Academy represents the diversity and excellence of worldwide physiology. As an international non-political organization, IUPS is the only body that represents the entire community of physiological researchers, teachers, and students.

Fellowship is a mark of academic distinction and contribution to worldwide physiology. It is a competitive election and as can be seen from our list of new and previous Fellows, only those of the highest standing are elected, to become members of our IUPS Academy. The Fellows have indicated their willingness to help IUPS further its goals in serving the global physiological community. In 2023 27 new fellows from many different countries all over the world have been elected.
