American Physiology Summit, April 20-23, Long Beach
One hundred thirty-six years after the American Physiological Society (APS) was established, APS launches a meeting designed by and for physiologists with speakers to spark inspiration, spaces to evoke collaboration and a setting in sunny Long Beach where you can put aside the stresses of everyday life and focus on your shared passion for science.

Opening with a keynote address given by Nobel Laureate David Julius, the lineup of the American Physiology Summit features eight game-changer and 80 foundational science sessions hand selected by APS members representing the Society’s sections and interest groups.
The eight game-changer sessions at the American Physiology Summit feature some of the biggest topics impacting life and health today. Top scientists from around the world will come together to present on these vital issues. Some of the topics: “The science of healthy aging”, “animals, humans and a hotter planet: the physiology of climate change”, or “rewiring the brain to treat depression: psychedelics and novel therapies.
